  • It depends on the package. Our Level 1 coating carries a 2-year warranty and is a great starting point for daily drivers. Our Level 2 and Level 3 coatings carry a 5-year warranty and include five years of complimentary annual exterior maintenance. All packages are backed by an in-house warranty and maintained by the same team that installed them.

  • Ceramic coating increases resistance to light swirls and environmental damage, but it does not protect against rock chips or deep scratches from road debris. For physical impact protection, paint protection film (PPF) is the right product. Many vehicles benefit from PPF on high-impact zones combined with ceramic coating over the entire vehicle for complete protection.

  • Every installation at Oregon Detail Co follows the same process — a full hand wash, clay bar paint decontamination, enhancement polish to bring the paint to its best condition, then panel-by-panel coating application followed by an indoor cure. We never apply coating over contaminated or defective paint, and we require the vehicle overnight at minimum. The entire process takes at least a full day plus 12 hours of indoor curing time.

  • Eugene and Springfield's combination of heavy tree canopy dropping sap and pollen, wet winters causing water spotting, and UV-heavy summers makes ceramic coating a strong investment here. A Level 2 ceramic coating from Oregon Detail Co costs less over 5 years than consistent waxing, delivers meaningfully better protection, and includes annual maintenance visits. For most Willamette Valley drivers who plan to keep their vehicle 3+ years, the math works strongly in favor of at least a Level 1 installation.

  • Regular hand washing with pH-neutral soap, avoiding automatic car washes with brushes, and attending your annual maintenance visit at Oregon Detail Co. That's it. The coating handles the rest — water beads off, contaminants wipe away easier, and your paint stays cleaner between washes. Annual maintenance visits are included in all packages and keep the coating performing at its best for the full warranty period.

  • Yes — ceramic coating isn't limited to daily drivers. Oregon Detail Co installs ceramic coatings on RVs, boats, motorcycles, and classic cars. RV ceramic coating is particularly valuable in Oregon given the UV exposure and wet winters that accelerate oxidation on large painted surfaces. For classic cars, coating locks in a restored finish and protects it long-term without the maintenance demands of traditional wax. Call (541) 968-2804 to discuss your specific vehicle and we'll walk you through the right package.

As a detailer, I am always chasing that ultimate goal of total car protection from everything the road & weather can throw at me. These protective coatings are a step towards that goal. I started installing ceramic coatings in 2016 and have been one of the premier & most tenured installers in Oregon since. With several-hundreds of vehicles under my shops belt, and lots of real-world & Oregon-environment results, I can assure you that with a proper installation you will love your coating for years to come”
